Antique French Oval Baroque Style Gilded Cast Metal Iron Frame Stamped

A fantastic  Gold Cast Metal tabletop picture/photo frame with ornate organic swirls surrounding the frame and a scallop shell on top.  French Baroque style.   There is such immense detail in the casting, grooves in the foliage can be seen.   The frame has a typical hinged leg to keep it upright which can also be folded back for storage.  There is a metal clip at the top and bottom of the frame to hold your photo or picture.

Condition: Great Antique condition - lovely patina, some wear commensurate with age. This frame comes with Glass.   The age can be detected by the screws and picture holder on the back, and slight discoloration of the gilt paintwork in some of the areas - otherwise known as patina..

Antique or vintage items have been used and as most antique dealers would say "PRE-LOVED", they will show signs of wear which is commensurate with age.  Now this will appeal to some as it authenticates its age.
