Antique Bevel Small Brass Reposse Mirror adorned with Roses - Art Nouveau

Stunning antique brass mirror with roses and leaves embossed frame and beveled mirror.  Tremendous detail, beautifully handcrafted.    There is a beautiful patina that has built up over time.    Repousse means pushed out - the relief is formed in reverse.  This is very typical of the Arts and Crafts movement c1890 - 1910 which rebelled against the mass-produced goods of this time. 
 
A truly rare and unique find.
 
Condition: Good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use.  The hanging mechanism is currently to hang vertically, but one can see the previous holes for hanging horizontally.  Lovely original wooden backing on the mirror.

Antique or vintage items have been used and as most antique dealers would say "PRE-LOVED", they will show signs of wear that are commensurate with age.  Now this will appeal to some as it authenticates its age.
